Albert und der Sumo-Engel
Stück für Menschen ab 10 Jahren
2 D, 5 H, 3 stumme Rollen bzw. Puppen
UA: 01.06.2006 · Theater der Jungen Welt, Leipzig
Albert is nine years old. Albert is fat, fat in a way only snowmen usually are. And Albert is vulnerable. When provoked, he lashes out. A mechanism he cannot control. He has been expelled from school a couple of times already because of it. Typical, many people say: “The Russian-German, the ruffian boy”.
His mother despairs of him, hands him over to his father. The only thing that counts for his Kasachstan-born father is the tough, masculine battle for survival, the mother demands assimilation, she wants to rise the social ladder.
Two worlds between which Albert is torn. Then, he invents his own world and experiences that others do the same. Selina, for instance, the girl he had hit.
