A healthy relationship, an interesting job, a beautiful house in the small town she grew up in: Marion Winterberg’s life is going well. Until Anja Fels enters her life. The young woman is convinced that Marion’s husband, Andreas, is stalking and harassing her in a sexual way. Anja accuses Andreas of calling her constantly in the middle of the night, sending her pornographic pictures and offensive letters. Marion and her husband reject the accusations together. But when evidence making Andreas a possible culprit begins to pile up, Marion starts feeling insecure: slowly she begins to distance herself from her husband.
And when, finally, more and more evidence points towards Andreas harassing other women as well, Marion takes Anja’s side for good, without noticing how she wins more and more power over her. Anja starts to subtly control Marion’s life…
The play Halbkontakt has been developed together with the cast of the Theater der Stadt Aalen. The play about stalking, the power of suspicion and interchanging roles of victim and culprit was performed for the first time in March 2008, directed by Katharina Kreuzhage.
