The space pioneer Yuri Gagarin orbited the Earth in 108 minutes - that was in 1961. Today we are writing the thirty-eighth year, day 456, elysium plantitia according to the Martian calendar. A lot has happened since the first orbit of the Earth: Humans have established the first colonies on Mars! And to one of these colonies, eleven-year-old Sascha sets off to spend a Martian year and to finally get to know her grandmother. Because of climate change and the pollution of the earth, not all people are allowed to live on earth anymore. And Sascha's grandmother is one of the first settlers who explored and colonized the Red Planet.
So Sascha goes on board an interplanetary space shuttle to Mars. What will expect her on the distant planet? What she has been told scares Sascha, and she is also homesick for Earth. Suddenly, Yuri Gagarin is standing in her cabin, yes, THE Yuri Gagarin. The first space pop star in human history. That is, more likely a hologram, composed of tiny particles of light. And equipped with all the cosmonaut's memories.
When suddenly the on-board computer goes crazy, it's up to Sasha and Yuri to save the space shuttle!
JURI - The first journey is an exciting Sci-Fi adventure in which Sascha rises above herself. An intergalactic space odyssey for everyone from 8 years on.
