Auftragsarbeit für das Schauspielhaus Bochum
4 D, 3 H
UA: 24.02.2018 · Schauspielhaus Bochum · Directed by: Selen Kara
A station concourse. Nil is waiting, but no train is coming. And nobody else is there, even the smart phone has no reception. Her (now ex-)girlfriend Nora has just broken up with her. In short: Nil has been happier. At the same time, a divorced couple stands in a hospital room at the bed of their daughter. She is in a coma. The Greek-Turkish parents of the young artist knew as little about her possible epilepsy as about their daugher being a lesbian. The somewhat excentric head physician, on the other hand, seems to have a grip on what’s happening. When Nora turns up at the hospital, some things can be cleared up, but too much remains unspoken. Can and should it be said now? But how? At the station, in the meantime, Nil encounters people from her past and begins to understand. While the father slowly loses hope in the hospital room, the mother gets active in order to free her daughter from her coma. (Announcement Schauspielhaus Bochum)
