"Grandma" died a year ago. Since then, "Grandpa" has lived alone in their old apartment. Strange things happen in this apartment—the TV turns on without "Grandpa" touching it, objects move without his intervention. Gradually, "Grandpa" learns that his wife lives on in him. He can not and does not want to get rid of her; he wants her to remain part of his everyday life. She is present, she is alive in him—and the children in the audience can see and experience this presence.

For this play of children’s theater, Lothar Kittstein was awarded with one of four Children’s Theater prizes by the Frankfurt Authors' Association in December 2005. As the jury stated, "... The children are supposed to play along, as the author wishes. He uses a trick in his narration which allows the deceased grandmother to appear, seemingly full of life, but seeing the universe from another world. In each scene, the audience has to ask questions about life and death—but the playful dramaturgy makes this possible in a very light, warm-hearted, and almost charming way."
