Nozomi lives with her adoptive parents, who offer her everything she needs. But one day she hears a voice, which calls out to her and which she follows. Reluctantly, she is led on by the cat Tama to the goddess of wealth, to whom she brings something which she previously did not know, and who shows her the way to her own fulfillment—namely pain. Pain because her cat Tama left her for Nozomi, with whom she is happy because they like each other. However, Nozomi's path has not yet come to an end. She must search for Tama, who has run away from her, in the paradise of the cats, must stand in front of the tribunal of the cats, and then return to her adoptive parents and reveal to them the path to happiness. This path is found in cultivating the purity of an absolute feeling that makes place for understanding and tolerance, and the serenity to allow each person to go their own way.
