Heiner Goebbels

Heiner Goebbels who was born in 1952 is a well-known freelance musician and composer, a “virtuoso of melodies and sounds” and “protagonist of the Avantgarde” (Frankfurt Allgemeine Zeitung). He wrote audio plays, created concerts and records with the Art Rock group Cassiber and produced his own stage plays in collaboration with Erich Wonder, Heiner Müller and Michael Simons, amongst others (Newtons Casino und Römische Hunde). Since 1988, he has been composing for the Ensemble Modern Frankfurt. He has received numerous awards for his oeuvre. Heiner Goebbels lives in Frankfurt am Main.
