Ingrid Strobl

Ingrid Strobl was born in Innsbruck in 1952. She studied German literature and History of Art. The topic of her Phd was "Rhetorics in the Third Reich". After her studies, she began working in the Austrian National Broadcasting Company ORF, both for television and for radio. In 1979, she became editor of the feminist magazine Emma. Since 1986, she has lived as a freelance author in Cologne, working for television and radio as well as writing non-fiction.
