Laura Dabelstein

(c) Daniel Senzek
Laura Dabelstein was born in northern Germany, moved to the Ruhr region to study German language and literature, and since graduating and gaining some experience in theatre, has been working throughout Germany as a coach for acting, even though she hates that word.
She has worked as a dramaturge in the theatre. Laura Dabelstein writes for stage and film. She co-wrote a television series for ZDF (WIR, season 4) and contributed a highly acclaimed monologue to Mourning Becomes Electra, directed by Pinar Karabulut at the Volksbühne Berlin (reviewed by the New York Times, among others).
At the Berliner Ensemble, she wrote a large part of the text for Lena Brasch's production of It's Britney Bitch.

Spielerfrauen
