Hannah Schopf (born in Munich in 1989) studied dramaturgy at the August Everding Theatre Academy and then worked as a dramaturgy assistant at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, where she collaborated with Thomas Martin and Frank Raddatz on the books DAS HAUS (Volksbühne, 2014) and REPUBLIK CASTORF (Alexander Verlag, 2016). Since 2015, she has been working as a freelance dramaturge and author (including Heimathafen Neukölln, Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, Theater Strahl). As a screenwriter, she has published the feature films TIGER GIRL (dir. Jakob Lass, Berlinale 2017), SO WAS VON DA (dir. Jakob Lass, Filmfest München 2018) and SAN REMO (dir. Johanna Behre, Filmfest Bremen 2019). Hannah was a scholarship holder at the Drehbuchwerkstatt München in 2018/19 and made her debut as a theatre director at Heimathafen Neukölln with her play LA DEUTSCHE VITA in February 2020. Together with Matthias Glasner, she wrote the series NACHTS IM PARADIES (dir. Matthias Glasner, Bettina Oberli), which has been broadcast on Canal+ since 2024.
