Scotland, 1926. A level place, on it a wall, and in front of the wall Mo and Bo, alternately played by four actors. A sheep, its shadow. Forgotten in this place, Mo and Bo first are confused by their environment, then more and more by themselves. A play about the survival of human beings emerges from the initial comedy. The wall, a plain, the sheep, its shadow, and itself, their world, become increasingly threatening to them. They can no longer distinguish between reality and imagination. They become an idea of themselves. After all, Mo and Bo are no longer two, but four people who are driving confusion into madness. Mo and Bo lose their identities as individuals and disappear, to their salvation, into the wall. The wall, the sheep, and its shadow remain.
