Tamara lives the perfect family idyll with her husband and three daughters: Dominik, the loving father who brings home the money as a surgeon, Tamara, the striving housewife who organizes the small-town beauty contest for charity and trains her three princesses for it. Every night, Tamara treats her family to Dominik's favorite dish, a pasta casserole, with a special meat ingredient. When Tamara's great love Kat suddenly appears in the kitchen after 22 years, Tamara finds herself caught between her sexual desires and her own as well as others' expectations of a wife and mother. The monotony of the heteronormative family routine is broken up and called into question by Kat's return. Both Tamara and Dominik experience a confrontation with their own values, emotions and past through Kat. In contrast to the meaning of the acronym MILF - "Mother I'd Like To Fuck" - which originated from a male perspective, Anne Haug here contrasts the desiring mother with it from a feminist perspective in order to playfully overwrite the term. Between the overdrawn role of the woman from beauty ideal to protective mother and in a horror film-like atmosphere, clichés are driven lustfully to the absurd.

For MILF Anne Haug received the Schiller Memorial Prize 2022.
The press release of the state of Baden-Württemberg commented: "In her play MILF, the author Anne Haug depicts the handling of traditional role distributions in the family and the attempt to break out of the seemingly abstruse role of the mother.
