Requiem
Auftragsarbeit für das Theater Bielefeld
UA: · Theater Bielefeld, Oetker Halle · Directed by: Bernhard Mikeska
When Rudolf Oetker falls in the First World War, half a year later his successor is born: Rudolf-August, who in the 50's made the company one of the most successful enterprises in Germany. In memory of the deceased
the Oetkers built a concert hall in 1930: the Rudolf-Oetker-Halle. When it was destroyed in World War II., the family also finances the reconstruction.
In Requiem all spectators go their individual ways
through times gone by and the spacious rooms of the
Rudolf Oetker Hall. The border between present and future
Past, reality and dream becomes permeable.
