This comedy takes the audience back to the fifties, a time that is now referred to as “golden”. It’s the time shortly after the currency reform, which brought hard currency, the Deutsche Mark, and the economic miracle to starved Joe Bloggs. Money began to occupy a dominant place in the life of the individual, family and society, and it started replacing other values. Slogans like “no experiments” and “if you have something, you are someone” mark the atmosphere of those years, which have already become history for the young generation.
