Klaus-Peter Wolf
Klaus-Peter Wolf was born in Gelsenkirchen in 1954. He lives as a freelance author in the East Frisian town of Norden, in the same suburb as his police inspector Ann Kathrin Klaasen. Like her, he moved to the coast after many years in other parts of Germany and chose to become an East Frisiann. His books and films have received numerous awards. So far, his books have been translated into 24 languages and more than 10 million copies have been sold. More than 60 of his film scripts have been realised, amongst them some for the very popular German TV formats of Tatort and Polizeiruf 110.
The novels in his series about police inspector Ann Kathrin Klaasen are regularly on the top of the bestselling lists for weeks. Currently, some books of the series have been turned into TV movies which enthrall millions of viewers.
