Georg Ringsgwandl

Georg Ringsgwandl was born in Bad Reichenhall in 1948. The first instrument he learned was the zither. He added the guitar later. When recuperating from tuberculosis at the age of 18, he composed his first songs. He studied medicine and worked as a cardiologist until 1993 when he gave up his medical career for the stage. Since then, the “Master of Bavarian Blues (and Rock with really mean liyrics)” has made numerous records. In 1994, his first musical play Die Tankstelle der Verdammten
