Hansjörg Schertenleib

Hansjörg Schertenleib was born in Zurich in 1957, he first trained as a typesetter and later attended the Academy of Applied Arts in Zurich. In the following, he travelled at length to Norway, Denmark and Vienna. He has been working as a freelance author since 1981. Today, Schertenleib lives in County Donegal in Ireland. Next to his stage plays, he has published novels, short stories and poetry. He has received numerous awards, the Kranichstein Literature Award 1995 among them.
