Juliane Stadelmann
Juliane Stadelmann was born in Salzwedel in 1985. She studied acting in Berlin and attended the German Literature Institute in Leipzig from 2011 to 2015. In 2013, she won third place with her play Ingrid Ex Machina at the Munich Young German Dramatists’ Award, and she received the Hans-Gratzer scholarship at the Schauspielhaus Vienna for Noch ein Lied vom Tod. With the latter play, she was invited to the Heidelberger Stückemarkt in 2014. Between 2014 and 2016, she took part in the FORUM Text at the University of Graz. In 2016, she had a residency at the Artists’ Vollage Schöppingen, in 2017 she received the Alfred-Döblin scholarship of the Berlin Academy of Arts. Also in 2017, she published her first novel Rübermachen – ein Roman aus der Vogelperspektive which she co-wrote with her brother.
