Ein Ein-Personen-Stück

UA: 18.02.1992 · Theater Phönix, Linz · Directed by: Harald Gebhartl
Kislinger’s one-person play Vom Fleischhacken und Liebhaben" is about sexuality and its hardships in the Alpine republic. Even though you can enjoy some juicy bacon or a hearty Austrian pork roast in public there – touching your own flesh and potentially even enjoying it is, at least officially, not allowed. Harald Kislinger perceives it like that and gets his anger about secret sexuality, perversion and obscenity off his chest very loudly. He highlights examples of Austrian perversions. The voyeur, the prudish farmer in the scalder, the man with the woman without a head, the priest scourging himself, the pubescent boy, the girl masturbating in the cellar… people who can’t deal with their own sexuality.
