Clouds want to grow pleasantly. In the cloud world, everything is possible. But what does it actually look like here on earth? Cloud Flutter and Cloud Fluffy look down on the earth every day. But today the clouds want to be with us humans. They are curious and ask themselves many questions: What is a poppy flower? What does a bee do? How does an apple tree come into being? Together with us, they want to observe, experience and feel the growth in a garden: from the tiny little seed to the juicy green apple tree. In her first play for the very youngest, Emel Aydogdu describes how everything between heaven and earth grows and flourishes.
Wenn Wolken wachsen is a poetic-associative play about the cycle of growing and thriving. A text that offers a lot of space for a journey through nature full of sound, rhythm and imaginative language images. The author was inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's literary fairy tale The Fir Tree and A Cloud in Love by Nazim Hikmet - but most strongly by her grandmother's garden.
