Manfred Schild

Manfred Schild was born in Innsbruck in 1968. After studying stage direction at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, he worked as assistant director and director at the State Theatre of Tyrol from 1995 to 1998. Since 1999, he worked as a freelance author and stage director. He received the Prize of the City of Innsbruck for Dramatic Writing for his first stage play Zwischen morgen und mir in 1997. Since 2008, he has been the artistic director of the Kellertheater in Innsbruck.
